Invalid Carriage

Description

This carriage may have been used by someone who had difficulties walking and was used for making short journeys around a park or estate, pulled by a small pony. It was made in the late 19th century by Ward of Tottenham Court Road, London. Although this type of vehicle is known as an ‘Invalid Carriage’, this is no longer a term which would be used today.
